In response to those worrying about the health of these women, not all overweight people are unhealthy. Also, like others have said, some work their arses off only to lose weight a lot more slowly then they should be able to or not at all. Using myself as an example, I go to the doctor regularly, my last blood test showed everything but my thyroid and testosterone to be normal. As a result, I have to work twice as hard to lose weight then the person next to me. even then I am not really losing the amount in the time I should be able to, so I have been forced to compromise. I still workout but now it is more a) to feel stronger so I can support myself and b) feel more comfortable with having more physical strength. Also for those worry about diabetes, I have had multiple tests for that as well, and my doctor has specifically said that despite my weight I am not genetically predisposed to developing diabetes. Having said that, I really wish more people would actually read a medical journal.
