16" x 20" acrylic on canvas of Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) from Supernatural. Did this with a new technique using a grayscale layer underneath to build better form and I'm loving how it turned out!

Thank you! It's funny this painting hasn't gotten that much attention, but I absolutely love how it came out. Probably one of my best pieces as far as likeness and value goes. Thanks for saying so!

Well it's an awesome piece.

Salt and burn the ones who disagree! For their taste in awesome is obviously dead.

I'm glad my weird humor entertains you. It's lost on most people.

Don't be surprised if I start leaving you random Dragon Age quotes or references in your comments box. I've been known too.

Do it! I'm actually going to give Dragon Age 2 another try tonight. My first game I was kind of skanking it out and flirting with everyone and so the only guy I could get was Anders. He turned out to be a huge disappointment to me. Think I'm going to try to get someone else more difficult this time and not do so many side quests xD I still LOVE DAO way more than I could ever hope to love DA2. The relationships with all characters were so much deeper. And I absolutely hated being stuck in that fricken city with the same outside areas over and over again. At least in DAO there was the illusion of going somewhere new..and the levels were huge to boot. Anyway off I go!

Anders. Goes from "LOLCATS" hilarious to...to...emo. Whiney, crybaby. Ugh. HUGE dissapointment, half the time I was like "who did this to him?" and to be honest, I wasn't even a huge Anders fan to begin with. Mehhh.

DA2 was...mixed. Don't get me wrong, I like it, but in order to like it I had to realize something very quick, to NEVER compare it to the first one, treat it like it's own game just in the DA universe. Once that happened it got better, trying to compare it to DA is a quick way to shoot it down and feel bad. Very bad. That being said...I'm still not sure WTF happened to some of the things. Darkspawn, I'm looking at you. On the plus side, it had it's really awesome moments. Aveline trying to romance that guy was one of the absolute best things in the game because she was so damn awkward.

None the less, I too love DA way more then DA2. It's just forever burned into my heart as the pinnacle of awesome. Backdrop, storyline, companions, it had it all. I doubt any game will, even a DA game, ever reach that high or deep. It's one of those rare games that made me actually feel for who I took, what I was doing with them, and by the end of my first play when Morrigan up and left me on my own (Whoops! Should have let her have that demon baby. I was so white-knighting it.) I actually felt betrayed! ARRRRG MORRIGAN I DISAPPROVE OF THAT ACTION -2000.

After 5 hours I'm sure your play session has gotten you somewhere. How did it go this time? Fun fact to think about: You know how all the interiors and exteriors are recycled often? Ever make the connection that Varric is telling the story to Cassandra? He's gotta be an awful storyteller or Cassandra has a real limited imagination for all the backdrops to be the damn same.

LMAO..yeah that's what annoyed me the most about DA2 - was how everything was the same..and my god that damn city! I hated it. But yeah I remember Anders from awakening and he was funny as heck! I disliked him at first because I felt like they were trying to replace Alistair with him by throwing in some comedy relief dude that wasn't near as endearing as Alistair was. But after the cat thing, Sir Pounce Alot..lol, I thought he was pretty awesome.

Then enter DA2 and you're right! He was a whiny, emo bitch! Ugh I couldn't stand it. "I have the love of my life, but I want to throw it all away because I'm hung up on how mages are treated!" Like dude, while I understand and agree to some extent, there WERE problems with the mages. Blood mages for instance! It's part of the reason I didn't really like Merill because she kept messing with things that were dangerous as heck. But anyway...

I did get a good hunk of time to play last night and I started macking it to Fenris. Hopefully he will be more interesting. I was reading up on a guide on what to do to get him, and apparently he is like one of the best romances in the whole universe. I will believe it when I see it, because I thought Alistair was the bee's knees. I think he was my first ACTUAL video game crush. xD Yay long-winded rants about Dragon Age! <3
