Enjoyed Serenity/Firefly series and decided to showcase the special and sacrificial relationship of brother and sister, Simon and River Tam. The Chinese character means "love".

Absolutely amazing! This not only captures a likeness of the characters appearance, but also delves into their personalities. How did you use colored pencil with acrylic paint? I'm always eager to discover new techniques, you see.

Beautiful work and incredible likeness!
River and Simon's relationship was so special and its culmination at the Reaver battle in the movie crowned it. I almost cried at that part.
"You take care of me, Simon. You've always taken care of me. My turn."

Very, very beautiful! I really like the colours! the night sky background adds up dramatic atmosphere. The hairs of the young man look stunning.

Great work, you've really captured their likenesses, but also the characters in the piece.
Simon and River are, I think, very hard to portray especially in a still piece, and I think you've done that very successfully.
That, and the technical value of the piece is grand.
