playing with watercolors for a very few minutes... I really need more time (to play and learn)!I also need to be a bit more imaginative with compositions... I have lots of good ideas but I have a very difficult time translating them as I am out of practice on top of little experience. But I am not entirely unhappy with this.
Koi 24 watercolor travel box paints and not sure on the watercolor paper...

As 2017 ends and we all look towards the new year I wish to thank you ALL for sharing my lunacy.
For this new year I also want to ask you to take a moment to look at ALL of the pictures of Chenelle. Even though they are all so different they are ALL Chenelle. Yes, some show with arms and some not, some with different hair, some highlight a certain feature or another. But they are all her. You all show (and appreciate) who she IS not just ‘how she looks’. They all show the beauty you see in her. That is amazing and magical beyond words... Thank you!

Funny enough the strong colors are actually ‘student’ paints: the 24 Koi travel box. The colors are really nice though!

I am seeing the plains of African at Sundown, about the time of day when all the animals get a bit feisty! It's quite an exciting and engaging picture

Yes, do paint from those magazines as I bet they are a great source of inspiration.
I think the closest I will get to going on safari is I "may" buy a pass for the local zoo this year, so that I can go and take pictures whenever I want. Or sit and sketch. It would be a useful investment.
