The colossal woman took a break from her rampage to sit down, planting a bare foot directly on top of a speeding taxi with a metallic screech followed by shattering glass. She was a few dozen feet away, a single stride at her size. You had watched her dump a handful of screaming people into her mouth over the skyline seconds ago and every instinct in your body told you to get as far away from her as possible, but your legs refused to move. Fleeing people shoved you aside and in seconds the street was almost clear. Her toes caught your eye, bobbing up and down over what was left of the taxi. It's horn let out a constant drone, somewhat muffled by the ball of her foot. A woman was kneeling next to the puddle of blood dribbling out of it yelling something that you heard but could not comprehend in your stupor. You felt a suffocating feeling, and quickly realized that it was the result of her staring at you. You met her mildly surprised gaze with a fearful one. "Why don't you run like all the others?" She asked. "Aren't you afraid? I could crush you like a bug without even thinking about it." She leaned forward against her knees in a relaxed position. She clearly didn't intend to do so at the moment but she had stoked your fear by bringing up the possibility. You looked around for a way out of her stifling gaze, still unable to move. "Not a conversationalist? Disappointing. I don't often get many people to talk to as a giant monster." She leaned towards you and outstretched her hand. It filled your vision and wrapped around you surprisingly gently. It felt warm and comfortable, though you were now completely at her mercy. Your arms were pinned against your body and your legs dangled helplessly. "I had hoped better, but a deer in the headlights is just another prey animal to a predator like me." She sighed, disappointed with what she was about to do. Her mouth opened wide and she dropped you in unceremoniously. She tasted you briefly before swallowing you whole, pulling you down to her stomach, where you would digest like any other piece of food.
