There had been mentions of physical abuse. "Nothing a good beating wouldn't fix" and "Weswore to Stamp out all that nonsense from him!"
This is very beautiful in a morbid and sad way, well done.

Though the book tries to gloss over it, one cannot deny the fact that Harry has been unfairly abused. Even if there are no proper mentions of "thrashings", neglect and verbal abuse are just as bad, if not worse.
