This is so cute. Looks a bit like one of those scratch pic thingies. Did you use a photo of your own cat? 'Cause, he/she is a real beauty. And the half-profile angle spices the pic up a bit, so, yes, this is really great.

most of it based on the graphic pen filter in photoshop with a lot of editing and combinations of other filters

Nope, its a photomanipulation done in photoshop, took me about 20 minutes to figure the right filters and editing
