Description
What if moais (the statues from Easter Island) weren't built by the Rapanui but were placed by an alien civilization? Were they placed to send a report on human activities? Why are they only activated at the end of an era?

The scene was rendered in Vue7 and the statues were modelled in ZBrush. The glowing outline was done in Paint Shop Pro as Vue always crashed when I tried to do it within the program. To be honest, originally I had planned to do "normal" moais but I couldn't find a decent stone texture for them so I went with a more scifi theme.
