This is the finished thing. First time oil painting, though I had a lot of experience mixing paints and trying compositions already, so I had some background to rely on;

...and also, it took me around 3 months. I found out that the damn brushes are pretty hard to control

This portrait was a gift to a very dear friend who's helping me initiate an immigration attempt and has taught me a lot about coding, data science and his native language. Pretty grateful to him I am!
