Hi, this is awesome :3 time to rant!!

I'm a animation student. Currently, me and my group members are working on our FYP (Final year project). Our project is to make a 2 1/2 minute 3D animated short film. So, the complaining starts here XD~~ My teacher's an arse. He freaking sucks. He insists that our main character must have some sort of distinct character arc throughout the story and wants us to establish a stronger backstory for the character during the introduction. WELL... GO DIE!! He keeps trying to push us pixar-like storylines and saying this and that.. well .. our film is only gonna be 2 1/2 mins long! HOW MUCH DO U WANT IN THAT?!?! STOP trying to compare it with a full length feature film. Urgh.... can't stand him... He screwed up the stories of the previous FYP groups and we are not gonna fall into the same trap..

Well, I have two things to complain about.

First, this year I have a lot of homework, projects, extra lessons and huuuge exams at the end of this year. The first week has just begun and my brain is already boiling... I guess it`ll explode soon.

And lately I`ve been chatting to my classmate (his name is Eugene if it matters ). We didn`t communicate that much and I thought he was a nice guy, but after chatting with him for 2 days I found out he was a jerk  And I got that bad feeling, so everytime he textes me, I feel like I don`t want to talk to him... at all. Though I guess he thinks I enjoy talking to him, but I don`t... Argh!

Also, I get really nervous when I`m trying to tell something, but NO ONE is listening to me, like I don`t exist! It often happens when I talk to my friends...

Something that I dislike in Deviant-Art (it is almost impossible that there is something that I don't like) is that, if you spend esforzandote for each deviation you climb, the other deviants two or three words and already. I say, it would be nicer if the comments were longer; I always try to make them long to motivate the artist to continue its work. Don't know which is worse: You get comments quite short (about two or three words, more or less) or did not receive them.

Boy do I have a thousand things I could complain about. It's tough to pick one, but here it is.
Teachers these days are terrible. And it's not because they don't teach well, like other people complain, it's because they've lost their sense of authority. Or at least in my school they have.
They're so scared of losing their job or getting in trouble that they let the kids walk all over them. They let the kids talk trash and swear and let the little brats disrespect them like HELL. They're always whining and complaining to the teacher, or even just plain INSULTING them, and the teacher doesn't do a thing about it, it's really frustrating.
I had this teacher last year, he was a complete pushover, I felt really sorry for him. I complained to him once about these boys talking about really inappropriate things, and he said that he couldn't do anything about it. Really? Just walk over to them and tell them to stop talking about sex! It's that easy! And don't blame it on hormones, it doesn't mean it's right! Stand up to these stupid children because you're the boss, and it's your job to teach them, not be their friend.

Something that drives me mad is when people make mistakes over naming certain items of clothing, specifically the distinction between coats/robes, cloaks, and capes.

So for example, I'll see on a cosplay forum someone describing the Akatsuki uniform in Naruto as being a cloak. A cloak is a SLEEVELESS garment. The Akatsuki uniform does, in fact, have sleeves. The same thing often happens with regards to many sleeved garments on fictional characters, such as Black Rock Shooter's coat, sometimes Ed Elric's red coat, and even occasionally the white jackets worn by the Soul Society captains in Bleach.

A slightly lesser offence is the mixups between cloaks and capes. Cloaks are usually longer, whereas capes are a fair bit shorter.

iv been studying Maya for come on 8 weeks now and i'm Sick of it!!! My teacher is a asshole who shows my work off to all the other classes telling them all that this is the stranded to be at, then turns round after 8 weeks of Maya and 3 weeks of assessment.     2 hours before i hand in my damn work he comes in and tells my my model isn't going to pass, in fact he has made it his personal mission to fail me on all papers i do because "im a threat to the industrious ' ???? Wtf does that even MEAN!!! OMG! 6k for this paper and that mother@$#@ is jack so far up his curry A$^#& that he thinks im going to steal his job or something, get real. i don't even like teaching, but i did how ever recorded that last abusive talk we had and the head of design will love to take a look at it ... yes he will mawhhahaah!!! fuck i have had a bad day and i think my teacher is on crack or something :s.

Something that gets on my nerves? Let's see... How about one that I've been wanting to get off of my chest for a few months now?

I recently learned that I absolutely hate it when people critique me on an unfinished piece when I've clearly asked for a critique on the finished piece. Seriously. It doesn't help me. I don't care if I was almost done with it, or if you find it easier to critique than the finished version. It does not help, and I most likely did not ask for a critique for the work in progress.

Why I complain about this is because my distant cousin, who is also an artist and is a few years older than me, did this. Even though I had asked for a critique on the finished piece, he deliberately ignored my request and critiqued my WIP, which made absolutely no sense at all. 

Though a huge part of me thinks that it's his overly self-inflated ego that factored into him making this decision. Apparently, he somehow managed to give me the praise "you have surpassed my art skills," and I think he might still have a hard time with accepting that, so he critiques me on things that doesn't need to be critiqued. Especially with realism. I think he believes he's better and with seeing me do much better than I thought I would (I thought I would suck, to be honest), he doesn't want to have to acknowledge that I might be progressing a lot faster than he wants me to. And yet, when people critique him, he automatically becomes defensive. It honest to goodness bugs me. So much. I only hope that he stays as the only person who does this to me.

One thing I would complain about: FACEBOOK.

Everyone, including my parents, sit n a computer, doing pokes, stupid games, etc etc. I've never really seen the use for it! And then my brother gets a facebook account, and then he doesn't shut up about it! he continuously talks about what he's gonna do, what he's doing, and what he's done. Then he talks about his best friends there. Oh, don't get me started! He complains of how they are mean and stupid to him, and they've done nothing to him! He expects everyone he meets anywhere to buy him anything he wants, when he wants, how he wants! UUGH!

That was a nice letout...I guess.

My partner and I got the hardest project assignment and he dumped the whole thing off on me because he refused to do anything more difficult than what the rest of the class is doing. >___> The kicker is that we only got a harder assignment because he couldn't keep his mouth shut and asked to do a project on something that's not in the textbook.

I absolutely hate it when parents force their child to follow a religion. Teaching it to them is fine, no harm in teaching your kids what you believe are good values. But if the kid decides to follow a different religion, or no religion at all, and the parent punishes them extremely for it, that is selfish and ignorant.

I knew a girl who's entire Summer plans were cancelled by her mother because she told her mother she believed in the Islam religion (her mother was a devout Catholic). Her vacation and her birthday party were cancelled and she was not allowed to leave the house with friends or have friends over, including her birthday. For two months. Just for not following her mother's religion. She was told the punishment would be revoked only if she went back to "the right religion".

What annoys me is when my DT teacher's ego gets too big. he starts criticizing everything his students make, when really a lot of the time, the students make better things than him. and omg. He thinks he know everything about everything. Once i asked him if the program we use in DT was available for linux, and he goes " it probably is, I mean why would the makers of Linux not make it compatible" IT IS THE MAKER OF THE PROGRAM TO MAKE IT COMPATIBLE WITH LINUX! 

and omg, he is terrible at graphic design. I am bad, but omg he is 10 million times worse! He uses a VECTOR program called Serif DrawPlus and makes such tacky things on it. his website is oinkdesign.com. LOOK AT HOW BAD IT IS. he thinks that it looks epic. but i am 13 and i could beat that in my sleep. Literally. in my sleep, because it is so bad, that no website would be better than it.

And I have been telling him for ages, that the projects he has been giving us, require bitmap programs and not vector programs. and ermahgerd i keep suggesting that he suggest to the head that Photoshop is bought for all the DT computers, but he will not listen and keeps saying "Well what you've got to understand is that photoshop is an industry standard program" AND THE POINT OF SCHOOL IS TO MAKE US LEARN. If we do want to become a digital artist we eill be needing to use industry standard software. SO WHY NOT TEACH IS NOW!?

Excuse my spelling mistakes, I am really annoyed now, thinking about it, so i keep hitting wrong keys xD

Ehh~, it's Saturday, but I need to let this out. I have so many things to complain about, but... I'll just say one thing I hate the most.

My Complaint (general state of mind): What annoys me the most is when people are cocky and think that they can do something that isn't simple as if it was nothing but a sheet with stuff written on it.

An Example of This: I know this boy at my school (whose name I won't say) who is in my Orchestra class (he's in 9th grade, and I heard that they're really bad this year), and after we played the D major scale on our instruments (we had to since we have many new people - including the boy - in our Orchestra group), I had to talk to my teacher about something, and that same boy walks in the office and tells him (the teacher) that he could do that with his eyes closed in his sleep. I just stared at him as if he was joking, but he wasn't. Heck, when I was asking a friend of mine (a girl who was in the same Orchestra class last year and is a sophomore; she's good at playing the violin, and she is really nice) to help me out with the song, the same boy walked over to us, saw the song that we were playing (for seating auditions), and said that he can do that, and walked away, leaving my friend and me very annoyed (he didn't even play the song at all, and he says that he could play it).

If I offended anyone, then I'm sorry, but I had to let this one out. It's been stuck in my head for a good three weeks, and I needed to let it out.
