So here is my entry...
I tried a new technique using a mix of oil paint and colored pencil. I hope you like it.

So here are the characters back story.
Solomon and Elizabeth are in love <3 awww cute.

So, Solomon was previously a vampire hunter before he was changed. He hasn't been a vampire long, only 20 years, and has gained the pure vampire's trust and thus controls his own town. He basically looks over his own town to protect it from harsher vampires.

Elizabeth is still human. She is the only child of a town mayor and thus takes on a lot of "male" associated responsibility. Her mother went missing years ago so she has some issue about abandonment She can pull her own in a world full of vampires.

The scene: Solomon and Elizabeth attend a Ball held by a powerful vampire. Elizabeth thinks it is a mere social whereas Solomon has to turn her over sad. The leverage was that if he turned her in she would live and if he didn't she would be killed. Elizabeth has killed vampires and thus they would arrest her for such crimes. So this is the dance they share. Elizabeth is all happy and doesn't know what will happen, and poor Solomon has a tough choice to make kind of sad. SO DANCE DANCE!!
