6404 Lok'tar Ogar www.deviantart.com/naomithewol… and 8284 Mak'Gora www.deviantart.com/fade--touch… are both fierce members of Ares Hunters. This red star rising event has been more difficult on their well being than ever before, many members of their herd had fallen ill, many more had been gravely injured, and even more were facing the same inner turmoil as they remember the lives that had been lost and wondered if there was anything they could have done differently to save them. Though they had been separated during the battle, as the fight began to calm, Lok'tar found himself searching desperately for Mak'gora. Many times he had joked that he "wasn't in love with her" "She's just a silly young mare" and "She's too immature to be considered a mate." But when faced with the fact he might loose her, his heart was filled with fear. She had been looking for him too. When their eyes locked across the crowd, it was like everyone else didn't matter anymore. They shared a warm embrace and a feeling of relief.

Both Mak'gora and Lok'tar had made it through battle without serious injury, maybe a bruise or small ghoul bitemark but their horns and skin were free of the dreaded red crystals. Many of their fellow warriors and friends had become touched during battle and their future was still unsure. All they could do was pray to the highlords for healing and hope this battle is truly over soon.
