I pulled this from a sketch i had since like October and finally decided to work on it so
its not as good as i'd like but hey
at least alia has a nice bog ):<
might do some more touches on this later or smth

This is so beautiful, Nat! And omg, Seadraz is completely right. You have a real skill with concept art. You could totally be a concept artist for movies/shows/games! Your art has such nice colors and emotion/atmospheres to them. Aaaaa I really love the blueish-green up against that stunning royal purple! This is definitely a fav picture of mine. Alia is so pretty, I love her pose & the perspective. I just love how this entire piece is framed! With the tangle of dark branches near the top, the super gorgeous circle of mystical green in the center, and the browns of the grass and trees on the bottom and sides.

Also, I really like how you did the grass. And the color blending in this is just so pretty -- soft where it needs to be, and harsher in other places. ahhhh these brilliant details never end!!
(lol I keep editing this comment and adding more.) And also again, the whole painting just flows so nicely. It looks so fluid & natural, like it was easy for you. Like you just plucked the image out of your head and effortlessly brought it to life, translating all the emotions straight onto the screen.

welp idk if i CAN do better... i just think if i try out different brushes (i only use like 3 brushes in all so xD more or less) i might just get better results or smth idk

(lol ive never told anyone this but the first song i was trying to write on piano was about a willow tree, LOL. rolf and i were trying to do it for fun but it was when I was a REALLY beginner and i didn't know anything so x'D wow. I actually completely forgot about it until now, haha.)

it was a funny song. see, the premise of it was that it started off with a cool secret agent theme (i tried my best x'D) and then it would eventually fade into a sadder and more gentle melody, like a willow tree swaying through the breeze. i know that sounds random, like "wth do willow trees and secret agents have to do with each other," but it was BASED ON A STORY WE READ, OKAY LOL. idr if we ever even fully got to the gentle "willow tree" part, though. i haven't looked at it in a super long time, i still have the sheets though. i was still really new to reading sheet music and so it was notated VERY poorly, but it gets the idea across to someone like me who already knows what i was going for anyway lol. i should look at it again sometime for fun, i only remember how the first "agent" part sounded.
