Description

I decided to participate in '12pendants2023' challenge started by jeweler Sarah Chapman on Instagram. According to the rules I have to post new pendant on the 23rd of each month. I manage so far. And I'll also post the challenge pieces here on DA.
This is my second submission for it. While planning the piece for this month and looking through materials I found this resin cabochon with illustration by Alphonse Mucha. It is called 'February', from his '12 months of the year' set. I think it is perfect for this month's piece! I also used a small blue crystal drop (thinking of melting icicles) and a golden round 'sea urchin' fancy stone, which reminds me of the Sun at the end of February - getting warmer and promising spring.

I wanted to make this pendant look delicate and a little playful, with it's parts swinging and shimmering. I like the result a lot.
