beautiful work
Suggestions if you want it to say "Sesshomaru" (please don't be offended, what you've accomplished is wonderful, so these suggestions are simply ways to bring the character's face more in line with the manga/anime character. Fans can be very picky LOL):
The front of the hair is more like bangs with a close to center part (to expose the moon crescent) with the hair on the whole just a bit more poufier than it is. Mouth not quite as wide but the lips as thin as you have them--yeah it's a manga/anime convention, but in S's case it helps his face look cruel. For the same reason, the chin should be a bit smaller and come to more of a point--usually that says "beautiful" or "feminine" to our eyes with a jawline like in your picture more masculine. However, I think the appeal of S is the beauty of his face in counterpoint with the harshness of his action--the character develops beyond it, but when we meet him, we want the viewer to believe he is the EVIL brother who may never be capable of non-self-interested action. Your character looks "heroic" in the sense of being "good" right off the bat. He needs a face that expresses the character's ambiguity more--someone capable of killing disinterestedly in contrast to the passion Inuyasha always displays. The longness of the face suggests "elf" as in a Tolkien style "good" elf (or even a Star Trek "Vulcan"). Takahashi always gives her characters squatter faces, but for Sesshomaru, I think you need to shoot for "thin" instead of "long".
Does this make any sense? On the other hand, it's your interpretation of the character. If someone wanted to say, make a live action Inuyasha and cast an actor who looked like your painting, I don't think anyone would have a problem with it

I just went through all the online manga to try to find out what happens after the anime comes to an abrupt non-conclusion and I kept seeing that o/ou in lots of other words as well...I think it may come from using two different transliteration systems, or perhaps the syllable is ambiguous in value to western ears. So--whichever!
Yes, I did not mean to imply that you needed to revamp the whole character--just a few tweaks to bring him more into the expectations of the character's fans. I really like the realistic mode--like I said, if you were casting a real-live actor and he looked like that, no one would have any problem. But you aren't limited to the actors you can find so you're free to make up a face that does everything you want.
