Up to interpretation doesn't necessarilly mean non-binary, it just means that people can decide for themselves. It includes being non-binary, but isn't limited to it.

Blanche is a French female name, Japanese culture doesn't even recognize NB and most of her features are feminine. Just because she's not super curvy doesn't mean she's a guy. Later the designer did say it was up to interpretation, but she is recognized as female in the app, wikis and Japanese guides. Non-binary isn't a thing. She's just flat.

Righty-o, but could you please tell me where in the app that Blanche is a female? and most wikis are fan made, so i can't really think of literally any source that says Blanche is a female. Also, Alex is a name that can be used for both male and female

Sister, Blanche est un nom féminin en français. I will politely bring to your attention that the counter example is weak as Alex is short for Alexander or Alexandra or Alexis which are very self evident when it comes to denoting gender.
Please update your game to version 0.35 or higher. You will see for yourself that she is a girl.

He's definitely the most relatable, but that's partly my point: the 2 girls are kinda bland in their loftiness, and they play to the stereotypes of male = dumb but fun, female = smart but wet-blanket.

Not really, since Candela is shown as the strong and passionate one, which is a more masculine trait when it comes to stereotypes. Also Spark isn't really derpy, that's just how people portray him online.

Blanche is a dude and it was confirmed by the pokemon go design team that he was supposed to be male... But it has long hair so yup is a chick!!! Dx

The Pokemon Go team (including Niantic) have not confirmed the gender of Blanche. They also went with a "gender-neutral" look, so as of currently, it's actually just up to the player/ player's idea. 
I myself for example, like to think they would use "Them / They". Until a gender is stated. xP
