"This is how I’ll always remember you, Surrounded by winter. Forever young. Forever beautiful. Rest well, my love."a quick sketch that i end up liking and throw some ink and color over...i dunno why but i picture this in my head in Tim Sale styles so i tried to give it a chance and do it in his style, for the coloring i took references of "dark victory" pages the rest came out of my head....victor freeze in the end hes just a tragic man not a villain, that does what ever he can to cure his wife...or it was before the lame reboot of the "new 52"

Damn...This is so sad. Freeze just lost his wife and Batman's giving him his snow globe just for the memories of his wife. Wow...just...Wow. I'm actually kinda speechless now. Lol

Out of all of batmans villians, mr freeze is one of my top favorites because unlike the others who have "bullied too far", "omnicidal hatred of humanity", "mutations" or "chemical vats" to blame for their turn to villians.
This One is driven by a desire to save his dying wife, was screwed over by a heartless boss and transformed into the state of being he is now.
even if he does fix Nora, the question remains can he fix himself?
Would they still have the life and love they once had in spite of his mutation and the things he has done to save her?
We don't know, but it sure makes him a true tragic villians type character doesn't it?

Your welcome. you know recently I saw read one of the released collections of the comics based on batman the animated series that your artwork here almost is a shout out too.
There was this story that dealt with mr freeze breaking lose from arkham asylum during a snowless Christmas Eve or New Years, bats pursued him to Nora's grave (obviously this is before he finds out Nora is still alive in her cryo stasis chamber) and he explains to bats that he escaped in order to make it snow.
The reason being that Nora loved the snowfall in winter, that he proposed to her on this night and that there was no snow it seemed "sad" to him.., so he made it snow as a Gift to her memory.
He then returns to arkham without a fight.
Cool coincidence huh? Pun intended of course.
