Indeed, I suppose with body forms I always feel restricted by it has to be ataomically correct, especially since my knowledge of anatomy isn't great yet.
With hair I can just draw freely

That's true, you always have to draw the anatomy correct, I still have a lot more to learn when it comes to anatomy and even hair but you can draw hair any way you like , even flowing or upwards

I know somone who draws hair that isn't attached to the persons head, sort of like a flying hat over their head
