So I've wanted to do a Nana drawing for a while and this was one scene that I couldn't seem to get out of my head: young Takumi and Reira before he was a jerk. Sigh...Done in with a Paper Mate ballpoint pen on a left over matte board. Woo pen!
Obviously I do not own Takumi, Reira or the Nana series, Ai Yazawa does. I just drew this picture from vol. 18.

Wow. This is really good. I have trouble with side views, but you did a really good job of... correctness? I would say that something is off about the guy's eye though. I'm not sure what, but it might be a little too far from the edge of the face.
Now on to the girl. Her hair. It's so detailed and absolutely gorgeous. Her neck is a bit long. Then back to the ear. I love your ears, just saying.
Basically, hair and ears are wonderful. Work a little on perspective, I think that may help with the things I pointed out. Or just ignore me, cause it's fine on it's own.

Haha, thanks for your comment. The reference I used looks about the same as the picture and I admit that it isn't perfect. Thank you for the advice and and commendation however I will take that into consideration with my next ballpoint pen work.

Ah, okay. didn't realize referance was used(i should read artist comments more carefully).
This is even more impressive since it was done with pen. I swear, when I try to draw with pen, it just ends up with a bunch of scribbles.

I always go over my pencil with pen once im done. Then after im done i realize a million mistakes I made

Haha I do that too. Usually I'm more careful when I use pen so things have to turn out the first time or I have to redo them.
