Digital painting with photoshop, 1333*1000 px. I wanted to do some rough and shining drawing. The composition is focused on dark environment toward the light, mainly in order to convey the melancholy mood of the painting

While I totally miss the melancholic effect (makes me wonder if you put the rain there just for that purpose), I do agree that overal it looks extremely good.
You know, the things I like most are the tiny details... the flag, the can and the cat. They really make the total more conveying.

The bricks are done by layering the loose brushes and just keep painting. Eventually, I got there

O_O... o... photoshop, it almost seemed like a oil painting to me, espcially after seeing ur other drawing lol.
that would explain it, cus if it was oil painting then it would be a bit... difficult?
