Whateverrrrr.

This was supposed to be a fully finished picture... Like, shading and background and all. But then my computer decided to pull one of these numbers:

"O, thats a nice pictre... LOL NOT. -Restarts.-" And I had happened to forget to save a PSD of it before it happened. So I was stuck with just a JPEG image of the base colors... Oh well, everyone said they liked it even with just the base colors. So I'm uploading this because of you guys!!! (And... Because Wren NEEDS. NEEDS a picture of him uploaded. He's one of my favorite character designs to date. Ranking up there with Vega. Probably because they look similar. xD) Either way, shading or not, fancy background or not, I'm overall happy with this picture. I dislike the throwing knife on the far right in his hand though... Looks like a silver pencil. xD!

Anyways, as everyone can see... This is my character, Wren. Wren comes from the same series of dreams I've been having as Kade, Adrian, and Damien. Lately, though having a LOT of dreams with those characters in it, things have been very cluttered and whatnot. So I've been taking inspiration from my dream and forming a story from it, as opposed to letting my dreams tell me what to do. xDDDD

I did this while spending the night at my mom's house... Taking advantage of the larger screen resolution and the like. (I have a super small, cruddy monitor. Only 17".) I worked on the sketch all throughout the night... Starting from around 12:00 midnight all the way until around 9:00 AM the same day. My mom lives in an apartment smack dab in the middle of the busy parts of the city... And strangely enough, I found all of this very inspiring. The sounds of the city going to sleep, and as you work, and light breaks, the city waking back up again... It's a really strange feeling. It almost rejuvinates you, and kicks you back into being alive. While, unless the location was optimal, I probably wouldn't want to live right in the middle of the city, I do admit that the sound, as busy as it may be, was very inspiring. I can't really explain it. xD! That's probably why I went more overboard than normal in this picture.

Anyways... Facts tiem.

Name: Wren. (No last name.)
Nickname: Quicksilver. (Just something I gave him. If there is any time in the story he needs to go by an alias, this would be the alias he'd go by.)
Age: Apparent age 18 - 20. Real age in his hundreds.
Hair Color: Natural hair color black; undermost layer fades from black to off white. (Unnatural, though not dyed. Like Kade's, though instead of it being a solid black to white, it fades.)
Eye Color: Natural eye color brown; silver eyes unnatural, though not contacts. (His eyes ARE silver, not gray. You can't tell that with just base colors though. It has the exact same hue as the element Mercury... Thus where he gets the nickname Quicksilver.)
Height: 6'00".
Ethnicity: Unknown, though probably something along the lines of half Hawaiian, and something else. xD
Species: Cursed human, dubbed Centennial.
Title: Healer.
Occupation: Damien's "bodyguard" and "ally."
Alliance: Antagonist. (...Of sorts. xD)
Weapon: Throwing knives, daggers, hidden blades, and a cutlass. Is not fond of guns.
Quote: "Your eyes tell me you do not know who I am. But I remember you... I remember you all too well."
Noteable Features:
- Two-toned hair.
- "Deity's Mark" beneath left eye.
- "Tribal collar" tattoo around neck.
- Gauged ears.
- Eyepatch, always worn.

- Eyes the color of Mercury.
History: To be revealed later.
Personality: A long road traveled left Wren with a slowly changing personality, though at heart, he was never far from who he was, many hundreds of years ago. During that time, Wren knew little of the world... The good and the bad. Growing up, lacking knowledge, Wren was little more than an eight-year-old inside a grown man's body, and as such, retained an innocence thought impossible for a man his age. Shied away from any and all human contact for a period of a few hundred years, Wren's innocence, and naivety was never contaminated, mind as pure and gentle, as the power of healing he was gifted with. Even though he was completely missing an eye, Wren was never bitter about it. It wasn't until one incident turned his life upside down, and brought him away from the comforts of solitude, into a whole new world, full of people, and cities. Overwhelmed by the constant human contact, and stares he received due to the strange eyepatch, and unnatural colored hair he was adorned with, Wren went into a short period of withdrawl, hiding away from as many people as possible. He was coaxed out of his shell however, and ended up dealing with - though not enjoying - the human company he was forced to endure, doing what he needed to, and no more in these situations. His mindset matured into something a little more appropriate for his "age," though he still held that same innocent desire that he always had, enjoying nothing more than sitting on the dock, overlooking the vast ocean before him; being with nature was always his most favored pasttime. Well, maybe second favorite... Second to being with her.

A traumatic event that snatched his world away from him left him devastated and uncertain of what to do. Now alone in a world he had yet to truly master, he once again became isolated from city life and people, much preferring to spend his days on the outskirts of town, perhaps in woodlands, or flower fields. He only entered civilization when he needed to, and when he did, he was always certain to be wearing hooded attire, using it to hide his face from passerbys. His once curious, almost childish nature locked itself deep inside, only to be replaced by a solemn, and perhaps sometimes ruthless demeanor, to try and protect himself from the species - known as human - that he had not given a chance to understand.

Only when he's alone, in his most favored wilderness, does he allow his expression to soften, and a smile to return to his face once again.
Strength: If anyone can be considered a Ninja in this story, it'd be Wren. He's very stealthy, and despite the loss of peripheral vision, and depth perception from having only one eye, he's remarkably skilled in aiming things such as throwing knives. He's very good at using things as cover, and a master at doing the 'disappearing act.'
Weakness: Wren's weakness is more psychological than physical... Of course, having only one eye presents its problems. Not only does it lessen the ability to keep your eye on your opponent, but to Wren, he's highly self-conscious about it. What is beneath the eyepatch is not a pretty sight, and if someone happens to remove the eyepatch, it's not uncommon for Wren to panic, covering his eye with his hand, before fleeing. He's also known to get highly angry, if someone he cares about (which is really only one person) is put in danger. He's known to turn against the person who put them in that perdicament... Friend and foe alike, so it's hard for him to keep himself in the right state of mind.
