Wood fired, soldate 60 clay. 17 cm. (6.75") across base, 20 cm. (8") tall. Wheel thrown and carved.I am trying to submit more photos of pieces that I've not yet put up for sale and would therefore be initially available solely to dA members. I think the spout is incredible. Do you mind sharing the technique? I am an amateur potter.

The technique is simple. You throw the original fully symmetrical shape. (You can see the throwing rings on the inside of the lip) When firm enough, you carve away what you don't want on the upper portion. Then you manually shape the pouring lip and add the handle. Have fun!
