It's a little hard to describe, but its based on a fanfiction where you (the reader) go to Disney World with your real life boyfriend Sans, but he's late to show up so you imagine a "perfect boyfriend" version of Sans to hang out with at the park. This idea grew to have its own sentience and that is Imaginary Boyfriend Sans! The author of the fanfiction and my brother started talking and together they run a blog about it, imaginaryboyfriendsans.tumblr.com
where your very own imaginary boyfriend Sans can help you out and be super romantic and cheesy towards you. There's also been a recent trend to have imaginary sans that look like other AU Sans, like Underfell and Underswap.
