Class - Flag race.

The team were going well, the flag race was always a lot of fun and very fast, the team order had been decided beforehand with Maisie and Merlin going first because they were the least experienced.

As a team they were pretty inexperienced at working together, they'd got in a few practices but there was so much to do that they hadn't done much on flags, With Sue's admonishment of 'Watch your CHANGEOVERS!' ringing in their ears the team lined up for the start.

They were OFF! - Merlin knew his job and recognised team games even if Maisie didn't, with all the intelligence of a welsh mountain pony he more or less carried Maisie accross the ring and back leaving her to pass the flag to Anne. Ann in turn performed a creditable leg and sucessfully passed the flag to Amellie and the more experienced combination really let rip for their turn, thundering accross the ring and spinning sharply for the return run.
The dust and sand was flying as she thundered back towards their last team member.

Peter had Thika in her bouncy canter as he held her under control as Firefly approached for the changeover - successfully passing the flag Amellie's cries were echoed by the other team members back at the start

''GO! GO! GO!''

Clapping his heels into Thika's sides she sprung off her hocks like a polo pony stretching out in a flat run for the finish.
