Im soon to be studying History at the University of Georgia to teach it and I love the historical aspect of these games and they say that this game series is based alot on fact on actual assassins (Desmond Miles being the exception of being non-fictional...as hes not possibly real). I wouldn't doubt that Ezio and Altair were possibly real assassins against the Templars...they were probably hidden from history until some research into the Templars history came up.

That Connor picture should had been AC3's box art. I was disappointed with the final AC3 box art. I liked how AC1 and 2 had a serious of figures around them like in the 2 pics in here.

I was given AC3 a day before its release because it was my 22nd birthday. I just started playing it today.
I'm a 22-year-old female, and I am a total video game addict. Who says girls can't love video games?
Anyhoo, I love the cover arts of these three Assassins. It's absolutely stunning.
I think maybe the main reason I love the series, besides the story and music, is because of the graphics. I can't imagine how long it had to have taken for the artists to create extreme details in the areas. They're absolutely gorgeous, but, dude, it must've taken so long to make the graphics and scenery look so realistic. It's fantastic!

Either way, ACIII is by far my favorite AC game. I absolutely love Connor's character, and the American Revolution is one of my favorite historical points.

And AC makes you look at world history in a totally new way. I'm playing AC1 right now and I can;t help but wonder if Altiar was a real person or at least based on a real person.

Ezio: Discovered the First Civilization, reforged the Brotherhood, and And found Altair's Secret.

probably since Ezio's story was such a hit to the gamers, they used him as the face of Assassin's Creed.........Maybe next time, Ubisoft would try to put assassin's on some of the historic events not just in America or Europe, but also in Asian Countries....... I mean World War II had such an impact in countries like the Philippines.... maybe they should put Assassin's Creed there XD

I'm not so sure, it seems they tend to pick massive historical events. Not sure what the first one is about, exactly, but oh well. I'm pretty dense like that. 
Having one of the games take place in an Asian country does sound like a cool idea, though. But I think they're already gone past most of the more interesting events in China and India and the such. Also, I think they're trying to stick with something that would be believable to Desmond's past.
