Soul/Lyra/Kotone in my style.i prefer calling her Soul though, since that is her origional game name.
so how does she look?

please dont just say "cute" or "love it"
i dont even mind if you just say "i like the shading" or "i think the shading looks flat". just say SOMETHING.
anyways. i tried a new style!! X33 overall, i think it turned out pretty good for my first crack at it.
but i still have alot to learn about this style of coloring.
and Soul's hat looks rather small in my opinion.
i did this using the 'opacity' on the brush.
there was NO blurring and NO smudging involved. just brush and eraser. ^___^
time overall - aproximately 3 hours
things used - Wacom tablet, Gimp 2

When you don't full screen her, she's surprisingly not really sketchy (but her outline is sketchy), and the shading's excellent.
Well, the only problem I have is with her outline.

that was part of the style i was trying to go for. but yeah, i think its a little /too/ sketchy.
and her necks too short. DX thats driving me crazy.

Well, the thick lineart's okay, but don't make it too sketchy. However, sketchy lines do work in some situations.
