I can’t remember when I started this picture, I think it was like something weeks ago, but today I just finished it.

I am always taking a walk down memory lane when it involves with dreams. This picture is something from the dream I had when I was 8 years old in the summer of 1999. This is probably one of the dreams I will never forget.

Here’s the story:

I was running through the dark woods all alone. I looked up in the trees and I saw an animal with big eyes that looked like this: nocturnal-animals.com/wp-conte… and it looked like something that I saw in a ZooBooks magazine (that was given to me by my second grade teacher who is now retired). Anyway, I was so scared that the animal was going to attack me so I ran to this little building that looked like a rest area, but when I went inside it looked like an arcade in one little room. It didn’t have bathrooms or a ticket redeeming prize booth. I looked at the one game that looked like fun it was to pick some kind of color. I turned around, and I saw a little pink germ like thing talking to me and it had some little nasally voice. He told me to pick what color I want, if I marry him. I told him ‘no’. He told me ‘yes’. But I still refused to marry him. It was like being in a Disney movie where a villain wants the girl in the worst way, but it doesn’t happen. After the argument with the germ was over, I played a game that he was on with a bunch of other characters, and the game looked like a pinball machine. And the dream ended. The next morning, I told my mom what happened in the dream.

I never knew the name of the little germ. So I gave him a name instead, Gimmy Germball. It is Jimmy spelled with the letter 'G'. I used to call him a ‘little slimy face thing’, I guess because of what he looks like, plus he didn’t say what his name was.

This was drawn and colored on paper, when I scanned the picture, the lines looked a little bright so I redrew them using a pen tool in Photoshop CS4, and I even made the glass, the rug design, and the floor in the program. I can’t forget one thing the green frame and my name and date at the lower right hand corner. I used two different tutorials. photoshop-tutorials.wonderhowt…
