Description
A recreation of a childhood memory. Around the mid 90's my mother separated from my father and took us kids with her. I was maybe 9 yrs old at the time. I remembered seeing some glorious sunsets passing through Kansas and this one sunset really stuck to my memory. This is not easy to do because I do have a lot of memory gaps from the abuse I survived as a child, but this one memory, this single fragment of my past, stuck with me in detail, and set me on a path to try to recreate it to share with the world.
I'm kind of new to digital painting, so I'm still VERY much a greenhorn in this department, but I'm eagerly learning, and teaching myself how to paint digitally.
