You really should credit the original artist, David Tevenal. Just because this is tattoo flash does NOT MEAN IT IS A FREE IMAGE!

Because you haven't mentioned that this is not your artwork and have not quoted the original artist. You are essentially claiming this as your own. Mention the original artist name, give him some credit, have some respect for him and the industry and I wont be so 'butt hurt'

Not my art work? i drew it with my own hands, you have never seen someone redraw something? Almost every real tattoo artist has tattoed an image that another has already created exactly or aleast they are very similar. go to a shop and people bring in stuff all the time that they have found a pic of. Look at sailor jerry people have been copying his work for years, not out of direspect but to show appreciation to it. And you are the so called tattoo artist here please learn the trade and history behind it and stop scratching and attempt to make a quality tattoo

Pardon you! I'll have you know I work in a respectable tattoo studio, and have my licence, all legal and above board, how dare you assume I am a scratcher!!! I have worked my ass off for the last 2 years just to get where I am now, I know I'm not the best but I sure as hell ain't a scratcher!
Yes we do tattoo other people work onto skin, but we ask that they consider the option of getting something original so that it is there's alone. Sailor Jerry is used so much because when it was created the needles, inks and techniques were very limited at the time, as were the time customers had to be tattooed considering they were usually in the navy and only in port for a while. But you know a Sailor Jerry or Ed Hardy when you see it, and the image alone is recognition.
Just because you re drew it doesn't make it yours, it is still copyrighted to the original artist. And not every one may know of David Tevenal and they are gonna assume you came up with this image all alone.
All I said was that you should at the very least take the time to add that 'this is originally the work of David Tevenal and I have used it as practice'. How the hell do you think I learned, but I always leave a note saying who the original artist is (when I use there image for inspiration)
I made a simple request and you have gotten over insulted and taken this out of proportion. 'make a quality tattoo' have you even looked at my work, do you even realise that tattooing takes years to improve and that you will never master it, you will always be learning. Have your opinions of my work but there is no need to be so venomous and spiteful.
