Description
This lazy mitted-ragdoll cat was a special commission miniature sculpture created by hand from polymer clay and wire within the legs, neck and tail. The tail can be gently posed to different positions. After the polymer sculpture was cured in the oven, it was painted using acrylics and given an applied realistic coat (layer by layer) of brushed alpaca yarns set with glue. I've made eyes many different ways over the years. This cat was made some time ago, so the eyes are painted rounds with several coats of gloss.
I now make eyes of paper, inks & UV resin and inset them into the sculpture after final curing.

Yes, the majority of my work sells to miniature collectors. This particular cat was a special commission of a family pet.
