Derwent pastel pencils on Canson Mi Teintes paper.This is my first pastel drawing, and I really enjoyed doing it!

Well, I am happy to see an artist using these pencils, it will help me to use mine. I finally used Stabilo Carbothello pastel pencils on velcet paper or Canson pastel paper, but I will go back to my Derwent pastel pencils, then & will try them on a canson Mi-teinte, then !

Hey Pam, when you use someone else's art [link] or photo [link] for a reference, it's generally the nice thing to 1) ask if it's okay and 2) give the person credit.

Hello, I'm so sorry I used your drawing/photo as reference. A time ago I saw your drawing and I stored the reference because I loved it so much. I was so stupid to forget your name, and when I wanted to draw the picture I couldn't find it anywhere. I hope that it's okay now I have give you credit.

Thank you for including the credit. And thank you for understanding; I thought I'd encourage you to do it so you don't get accused of "stealing" which wouldn't happen from me, but might from someone else. I've discovered it's a good idea to always 1) ask permission, then 2) give a credit to where you got the photo, even if it's a free stock photo. Always doing so will prevent trouble with other artists and photographers
