Description Like I wrote before, the process of digital oil painting takes a lot more time than other styles, like watercolour.
Here I alternated between Corel Painter 11 and Adobe Photoshop CS3 to give more detail to the face, cover with digital paint most of the pencil lines , and started to paint the hair with the "Fine Soft Glazing " brush from Corel Painter. I used a cheap Genius tablet.
To me , the most important part is to capture the right expression of the eyes , otherwise the painting will not look like the model.
