Description
My poster design for local record store Green Light Music for this year's Record Store Day on April 22.
The imagery is based on Tom Petty's video for "Don't Come Around Here No More", and also celebrates the 30th anniversary of Petty's first album coming out. I wanted to use that as a starting point, and chose different music styles for each of the characters in the piece, i.e. the March Hare is a B-Boy, the Caterpillar is a stoner rocker, and the cards are punks and ska dancers. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum are bouncers.
