Description
I'm currently reading Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment, and I felt like drawing Rodya Raskolnikov.It is a rather simple drawing, made in a hurry, so I might do a more complex and realistic drawing of him later.

There is a tension in his eyes and mouth that reflects the duplicity of his character...you've captured Rodya very well and very simply.

I love the way you have simplified (almost hesitated to include, but something, let's just call it design, forced you to), the hair and chin, it has taken us [the viewer (& me)] right into his eyes also which is attribute of your beautiful cropping moving righting into his personal space/emotions, then,
just in case our [I'm still here] minds start to get distracted the eyebrow and nostril contain and force us to believe that pupil could swing around to catch us trying to get inside his head at any given moment.
Very impressive. I shall return, hehe.
