tnx you mate. As I wrote in the comments about bolt handle. Yea originally I did it as normal rifle then I changed it into sci fi and have no time to finish it properly so I left it there. Otherwise I would had to loose a time to make there someething else.

hi. yea. looks like one of mine. When people ask me if they can use/copy my work I used to answer yes but it has to be non-commercial. so If it non-profit activity then it is ok. tnx for info.

Peterku, you have the right to use the concept of the Russian "VSS vintorez"? I think no. Then why do you use it for your "Vss-3000" work? You can say: "I created this model myself". But Ramhat created his model himself, using your concepts only as an idea. Your models even at different levels - low- and high- poly. I do not see the difference between these two examples, but huge difference between these two models. That's funny.

Hm, well that link doesn't work anymore, but for the sketchfab one, if it is a directly edited version of your model, there's a report button you can click.

i took a look at the model. its not the same. VERY similar but not the same. peterku was bulpup while this guy has the magazine top mounted. also the number of holes on the front is different and the hole of the barrel is also different. also no charging handle on the other model while peterkus does.

That does not preclude him from having taken the model and editing it down for his purposes.

Not here to be toxic, but do not rip at that fallout mod creator, unless he officially said he made the artwork for his own, he clearly made the mesh which puts it under copyright law, and even if he was selling it I think there's also the possibility that it wasn't him and was ripped from his mod files, as BA2 Extractors can allow me or anyone with brain cells to sell any mod.
(EDIT; Doing a little more research, it seems he is allowing everyone to use it freely and not selling it. the man on nexus is different from ramhat so it seems like he just wanted it in his game rather than trying to capitalize on it.)

Clarification to your commentary, the person that made the fallout mod, who is not the original artist that made the rifle up above here, had monetized a version of the rifle which has since been taken down.
That went against the distribution rights of the asset as it was free to use, but not sell.

also ps sketchfab.com/models/1dbac27e1… he claims he used your model as a concept, he advertises selling it on that and you get a really good look at the two models yes there are slight difference but look the two side by side in anycase its a rip off the stock the front of the gun both identical peterku is a legend and i am hurt that people would do this to him

Always remember, you want as little material on a weapon as possible without losing integrity to decrease weight. the people that would be using this would be carrying this for long periods of time in some circumstances, and also need to move quickly if need be. from a technical stand point, remove the bottom hand rest and the hand guard. move the magazine to connect farther back of the stock so there is no space for something to catch on. the scope is too high for there not to be a integrated adjustable cheek riser. The scope would not have so much yellow to it. that is all I have to say about this.

In the hands of some one they is in a suit like you said, yes it fits better to have it bigger. But when you look at a practical stand point some things even on a sci fi weapon must still be practical instead of just good looking. Goodness comes more from how something performs mainly instead of looks.

Though I'm not much for guns, this thing still gives me wonderful pants feelings. It reminds me of when I used to play paintball in the desert with my brothers and our friends, and while everyone else scattered I'd snipe half the team before they got out even a single shot. SO many pants feelings...
