So, here some of my Ivan the Terrible sketches. Didn't upolad my ItTcomics, cause I'm to lazy to translate them.

I just watched Ivan the Terrible part 1 and 2 today, after you suggested me to watch it by answering to a question I made you on tumblr some months ago. I have to thank you so much, it was a real masterpiece, and made me more willing to do a thesis about Ejzenstejn for my degree.
Of course I was very inspired by your sketches! I'm in love with them (and I'm in particular in love with the way you draw Fyodor Basmanov, who's very fascinating in the film too XD !) !

So, I'm taking a program that is all about Russia, and we just wrapped up Ivan the Terrible and Time of Troubles shenanigans, and I just stumbled across these, and they are kind of blowing my mind in, like, twenty different ways. I feel like I now have to make doodles of everything we go over in class, or just study all these, cos whoa, they are gorgeous. (Also I'm super proud of myself that I can read the little quips of dialogue in Russian. I don't know half the words, but I can read them!)

Well, he certainly looks like an asshole! XD But, this is Ivan the Terrible we're talking about here (i personally don't think he was as bad a peter the great, but...) I'm sure it's historically correct.
And is that his wife they're fighting over? ._.
