Boy, do I love entering contests! What with scholarships and this recent streak of art contest entries, I'm going to be experiencing a lot of hope and/or disappointment this winter/spring... anyway.

This sucker is for a contest that Nintendo and some other photo site... smugmug or something... were holding to celebrate the recent release of the new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games. Entrants draw a purty picture that has something to do with becoming a Pokemon, a la the story of Dungeon, and what you'd be doing with your life now that you have fur and a tail sticking out of your butt. I'd just like to point out that I have no idea what a shoe with teeth has to do with Mystery Dungeon. I know that sounds random, only I hafta say it because that was one of the entries. A shoe. With teeth. And a caption that says "Shoe!"... wow.

Uh, I don't know what else to say... the shading on the Rattata is really bad, I know that much. The sentiment is sweet, though.

EDIT: I won! I WON! Woohoo, my picture was considered one of the eleven best out of the couple hundred that were entered! Which is odd, because I can think of at least five others I saw that were more artistically prettyful than mine... none of them won, either. I suppose the "umbrella in the rain" sentiment won them over more than the art, which also isn't too bad at all (not to brag... like I said, there were plenty other pictures that were better than mine).
