Hopefully no one remembers the left drawing, I stored it though Contest entry 2016 Improvement challenge
Did you guess from who drew this was before looking at my name? No, I didn't change my style lol |D

Back then I felt something was off, but couldn't figure out what. It's the only piece I was heavily unsatisfied with, no idea why I uploaded it back then.
Right now I wonder why I'm doing this, because I haven't used this style since that drawing on the left. I thought it semi-realistic is my goal after improving
all my technical skills, but through these years I never focused on it. (Semi)-realism isn't a goal all artist should aim for, just another style preference.

I started to use more and brighter colors. I've changed my painting techniques, as on the left I had no idea what I was doing. In both I lazed the hands,
because I kept them as last and not sure how to polish them. The character is my OC Rasumi. For some reason I often mess up her up or don't finish the drawing.
Here she looks fine, but a lot can be done better. Lately I've been drawing a lot roses. The concept in both drawings is "Beauty hurts". In the first she can't hold it
anymore and watch it wither. On the right she holds a torned rose with obsessed expression. I gave a her a red dress, displaying her love and passion.
It was interesting to see a style that I normally don't use. I wonder what I can do more with my skills

Last drawing of this year. I was planning to work on something big, but it's more fitting to upload after this year ends. Goals next year:
- Drawing sceneries, background focus
- More details

I have achieved goals from last year, written in the improvement meme from 2015.
The left drawing was done in 3 days, right in 6 hours and I started to use brighter colors. I hope this is my last draw again meme. After 2013 I have no artworks
I want to redraw. It's a change of style, not really an improvement in some ways. A month ago I uploaded this and noticed the old one was preferred sometimes www.instagram.com/p/BNCnlxOD_j…
Some people told me that I'm improving slow, as in I always work towards a goal. I haven't had many failed experiments. I wonder, is that a bad thing?
