I really love how the grayscale adds a unique touch to the colors of the rose, instead of the usual bright colors. The petals folding into the center of the rose that has not fully bloomed really catches the eye. Blurring the petals really added sharpness and contrast to the center of the rose.
If I may suggest, you could try changing the hue of the photo to sepia, to go for a more antique look, and playing with saturation and value to create a more faded feel, which adds a dramatic touch.
But overall, this is a great photo that really caught my eye! Wonderful shot!
