I was going through old files and remembered I had started editing this one... so I know it's random of me to be uploading it even though it was shot back in 2009. But I like it enough I wanted to share it. I don't know why I didn't upload more head shots from the goo series.

I've said it before, but this is such a fantastic photograph.
First off, I love the color! The lips provide a cool provocative that allows the mind to wonder about the streams of "liquid" about the model's figure. Secondly, I adore the pose. It's such a subtle look that she has which screams out to me that she does not care about her situation. The warmth of the cool-green eyeshadow pulls me in to focus on her many beautiful facial features, and it sends shivers up my spine with how nonchalant she is being.
Whatever the substanceβthe look, feel, lighting, and pose of this photograph are drastically inclined to draw me in deeper, and my breath is shortened all the while.

I'm surprised because V (the model) actually
has a phobia of liquid dripping on her. She had to be brave for this shoot.
So your reaction tells me she did a very convincing job.

It's made out of honey and food coloring. None of it went into her eyes, even though it looks like it might have. It just stuck to her eye lashes.

thats amazing! I would've thought that you bought a professinal brand lol Have you ever used fake blood? if so, where/how do you get it or make it? Because on YouTube, a youtuber named shane dawson uses stuff that comes out of your mouth or such and it looks thin but thick too... anyways, do you know how to make that?

Yes, I make my fake blood out of chocolate syrup and food coloring.

thanks! Yes, actually this model in particular has a phobia of having any kind of liquids on her face.. so she specifically was a trooper for this shoot. I think I'm the only photographer she's ever allowed to use liquids on or around her face before.
