Firstly, yes this one is quite a bit different than the others. I made this one entirely traditionally using speedball ink and watercolor and mounted it on foam board. Check out this journal entry if you'd like to know why I did it this way.The piece is not technically done yet. I still need to buy or build a frame for it and put something on the back of it for hanging purposes. The green colors used in the comic were chosen to correspond with a similarly green room that I'm going to hang the piece in once it's finished.
EDIT: Completely forgot to mention the dimensions of the piece. It's roughly 9" x 30".

Cripes, that's a lot of bits for a glorified coin pot. Is there only one pony that makes piggy banks or something? That price speaks of monopoly power.
Also, I guess Trixie now just hangs out with Sketch often enough that she asks him about day-to-day stuff he does. Funny.

I actually wrote the comic after seeing a ten dollar piggy bank at Wal-Mart. It was tiny and couldn't possibly hold anywhere near ten dollars.
The piggy bank monopoly is more real than you think.
