Description: The Scelidosaurus is a genus of Thyreophoran Dinosaurs that lived during the Early Jurassic Period in what is now the British Isles, currently, it is the only classified non-avian Dinosaur to be found in Ireland, and thanks to several excellently preserved complete skeletons, it is also the most completely known non-avian Dinosaur in the British Isles.  Being a Thyreophoran, it is related to later Thyreophorans like Stegosaurus, Kentrosaurus, Euoplocephalus, Ankylosaurus, and several other genera, Scelidosaurus is seen as a primitive Thyreophoran, it's placement in the family tree has been up for debate for over 150 years.  Fossil trackways have been found from the Scelidosaurus, it is believed that the Scelidosaurus was able to walk both quadrupedally and bipedally, we think it would have reared up on its hind legs to browse from small trees, but some believe it was more bipedal than quadrupedal based on the fossil trackways, this kind of posture is similar to the closely related Scutellosaurus.  The most well known feature of the Scelidosaurus was its bony scutes and osteoderms that run down the sides of the animal, acting as armored protection for the animal, this armor would have protected the Scelidosaurus from attacking predators, but what specific predatory Dinosaurs would have hunted it is still a mystery.  Though we have so many complete fossils of the Scutellosaurus, we still don't know much about its biology, ecosystem, or other animals it shared its habitat with.

Personal Thoughts: I've known about this Dinosaur ever since I was a kid, I think it's really cool to learn about the evolution of the most popular Dinosaurs, as the primitive Dinosaurs that came before like Scelidosaurus don't get much spotlight.  This one is perfect for a Dinosaur zoo, every osteoderm and scute on its body is extremely well detailed, there's even several color variants for the Scelidosaurus in game, the one's I've seen so far are blue, brown, and melanistic variations.  I do like that is appropriately uses the Stegosaur AI and animations.  Plus it has no bugs or glitches, the modeling and textures are realistic, and it can breed properly in the game.  I highly recommend checking this mod out and using the Dinosaurs in it for a prehistoric zoo.
My Rating: 10/10
