Exploring James Hunter's personality and his possible rivalry with Louis Despatis. An early idea, where Louis is more merciful than most pirates, and would prefer embarrassing and mocking his victims rather than killing them, before running off with their cargo. Also introduced the idea of James's Hapless Ensign.
