I see a face dark and somberEyes too cold to weep
Half in shadow, half in light
Out of focus,
it’s gaze I cannot meet
The face is familiar
It’s visage known
~another time, another place
A melting pot of days forgone
And memories now lived alone
I peer into A Mirror Darkly
But all I see are Bones
Of things I’ve lost
Of loves high cost
And tatters of my soul
