...undaunted by change. theres alot of symbolism in this peice:
-the RED RIBBON: red is the color of passion and violence, the two most powerful emotions, and yet they come and go like the wind. the ribbon is entwined about her neck, as if to strangle her, yet its about to float away with the wind, representing the transient nature of emotion.
- the VOID behind the subject: chaos/confusion
-the girls GREEN EYES: green is the color of growth and regeneration, progress. the girl is an undefinable age, in adolescence, caught inbetween and ageless.
-the color BLUE: blue is a color of hope
-the DOVE: white doves represent hope and purity/innocense. doves are also messengers; the dove has been summoned by the girl as a last message that there is hope amidst all the confusion and chaos of being human.

im sure you can use your imagination for the rest, lol. just wanted to make those things clear:-p

aaaanyways, i fiiinally finished this peice. it kind of evolved as i worked it, and as i kept fiddeling with it, this is what emerged. i think i really like where we ended ^_^

lots of frustrating hours in photoshop CS, with few-to-no refs and a tablet.
all hand drawn, o'course, no photo manips, etc.
