TADAA!!
Long time no art or even touching the tablet or artsy software so about the time to squeeze something out.
A small warmup-piece of Yilia standing in a rainstorm in far too chic outfit for the weather. (I know, the rain effect is sloppy...
)And when I say warm-up, I mean there is sketch from 2013 about Yil and her human I've been itching to start working on ever since sketching it but hadn't had the skills to create the look I have in mind, so HOPEFULLY there will be something sweet coming out withing a few weeks.
Sooo, done with the newest version of GIMP, which isn't too far from Photoshop these days. Which is good.
Hope ya all like it, and sorry for the long hiatus.

Finally!!! You are officially back!
And with such a neat piece! I really really like the way you drew Yilia in this pose. It just looks RIGHT; natural, effortless and delicate. Kind of talks about her personality, making me intrigued
Got to love the windy effect on the coat and how she peeks out from under the hood. She looks totally cuteball :]
I could lament about the watermark crossing the image a tad too dominantly maybe, but oh well!

Back, or at least attempting to be more active.
And happy to hear you like this piece, really liking it as well, it turned out very nicely apart from the rain effect. This was a "loose" sketch, and happy that the relaxed feeling lasted to the finished piece.
And I know the watermark is ugly, but got lazy when slapping it on...
I'll try mah best to keep drawing/painting/arting, though you never know with life these days.
