Description Trying to get into more digital painting and find a style I like. Rapunzel, kind of melancholy, back in the tower after her adventure and recreating the chalk drawing from the city.

Thank you both for the lovely feedback, then And I only wish I had Painter...This was done with about three brushes in Photoshop CS4. I tried to emulate a painterly style as best I could.

Figure work is lovely and painterly, but what's jumping out at me the most is your composition - absolutely flawless. Fantastic use of complementary color scheme, value, that giant S-curve. Wow, I'm just gobsmacked. Good comp is a weakness of mine but I know it when I see it. Beautiful work!

I really love those faint, swirly white lines Rapunzel's drawing on the sun and those fine, little details on the flowers in her hair! And the desaturated gold and violet color scheme never looked any better!
