oh I have waited for a critique like this for so long. lol (most critiques I have received are a compliment.) This really help me actually see the mistake and know the way to improve it.
Composition and value are always my weak point. lol
While I painting this pic I always aware of the deer. I tried to reduce its contrast and details but look like it's not enough. XP

Ha ha, you're welcome! Yes, it can be a challenge to find good critiques on deviantArt. If you're looking for more of them, have you considered joining up at Conceptart.org? That forum isn't really what it used to be these days, but you can still get a lot of valuable advice. There are a lot of professionals hanging out there, so the critiques you get are honest.
For the contrast, maybe you could put some leafy canopy behind the deer? You already do have a tree there. This could add another value to take the contrast off a bit. The pattern on its face could definitely go down a little without it looking weird since it is just a fur pattern, and for the nose you could break up with a little bit of highlight.

Yep if I repainted it I think I would do that but I already sent this pic to my client, so, I think I won't fix anything. I will keep your critique in mind and will apply it in my future work. X)

I like the camera angle, the face and hair of the girl, the purple flowers, the animals, the soft light that enters into the forest. Really beautiful.
