You walked in the hallways, holding a book close to your chest as you head to the library. You sighed. Things were hectic lately, not that you minded. It all started with (Male Friend’s Name)’s declaration of love for you in front of the class. During the past few weeks, Akashi and (Male Friend’s Name) had been competing for your affections nonstop. It didn’t annoy you. You could never be annoyed that your boyfriend finally tried to show his affections for you. He didn’t do it often and those did not include the occasional cuddling here and there. Those were normal and they happened pretty often whenever Akashi felt the need to do it.

Lately, Akashi has given you a bouquet of roses, chocolates even! It was weird since Akashi usually never did such things. He made sure that you never left his sight and whenever you headed to the gym to watch him practice, he would always make sure that you stood by his side, his excuse being, ‘I am perfect as I already am, so I have no need to practice.’ You couldn’t say anything back.

“(Your Name),” you heard a redhead say, causing you to look up.

“What is it now, Seijuro?” you asked, sighing. You knew that this conversation had something to do with the recent things he’s done for you.

“I-”

“If this is about that ‘war’ (Male Friend’s Name)-kun declared on you, then I don’t want to hear about it,” you said bluntly as you stared up at him with your (Eye Color) eyes. You saw how his smile twisted into a smirk and you didn’t like it one bit.

“Not at all. I was planning to ask you out for a quick meal before heading home,” he stated as he held his hand out to you. “What do you say?” You stared at him blankly, unsure why Akashi suddenly asked you to ‘have a meal’ as he would put it. He was usually not one to ask you, but instead force you. He was also not one to like going on dates since he was always with you, cuddling with you instead. You sighed, but nonetheless, placed your hand on his.

“Fine,” you answered.

~Time Skip~

You sat in front of Akashi as he drank his vanilla shake, a soft smile on his features. You stared out the window as you drank a chocolate shake, watching as the people strutted by on their dates with their boyfriends and girlfriends. You glanced to your boyfriend, wondering if he was planning anything.

You stared at Akashi, noticing his eyes were closed as he drank his shake. You thought he looked angelic at that time. He wasn’t being the usual ‘demon king’ everyone claimed him to be and that was nice. He looked kind, calm, gentle, and an everything else that describe an angel. It was truly a sight to behold. You saw him raise a hand up as he ran that hand through his red hair, his eyes opening to stare back at you, his gaze seeming like he just noticed you staring. You saw his lips twist into a smirk as he stared back, his hand separating from his hair and his red locks falling perfectly in place on his head.

“(Your Name), it’s not nice to stare,” he said as he leaned in close to your face, causing you to blush madly at how close he was. It wasn’t that you weren’t used to it. You just… weren’t used to it. It was contradicting your previous thought, but it made sense in a way. He leaned in further and placed a chaste kiss on your vanilla flavor lips.

“Akashi-kun, I’d appreciate it if you didn’t openly show your affections for (Your Name)-chan in public. My ears hurt from all the screams the girls here are giving out due to your charms,” Kuroko said as he drank from his vanilla shake, a blank expression on his face.

“Kuroko?!”

“Good afternoon, Tetsuya.”

~Time Skip~

You walked home hand in hand with Akashi, eyes locked in front of you as you walked. You sighed as you remembered the moment you had with Akashi before Kuroko interrupted you. You walked a bit closer to him, wanting to feel his warmth once more. You then stopped, calling out his name. He followed suit and stared back at you.

“What is it?”

“Lean down a bit,” you demanded as you let go of his hand and stood in front of him. He did as you told, wondering why he was doing it. You stood on your tippy toes and leaned up to place a chaste kiss on his lips, surprising him. You leaned back and placed the back of your hand over your mouth, hoping to hide the blush. “It’s for the vanilla shake earlier,” you explained as you looked up at him. Your eyes widened as you saw a tinge of red on his cheeks as he placed a hand on his mouth. “S-Seijuro, are you blushing?” He looked up with you.

“N-No, of course not!” he denied as he held your hand and led you home, his other hand covering the lower part of his face. You smiled as you giggled softly to yourself. It was a rare occurrence for Akashi to even have a blush of any kind on his face, but to show it to you was more of a miracle. You just wished you had a camera then.

~Time Skip~

The following day, you walked into class with a smile on your face, happy that you finally got to see Akashi blush for the first time in his life. However, when you finally snapped back to reality, you frowned. In front of you, Akashi was sitting at his deck, smiling triumphantly as (Male Friend’s Name) seemed to look defeated. When you noticed that Akashi’s eyes were on you, he smirked.

“Ah, (Your Name), you came just in time to see my win,” he said happily.

“The things I have to deal with…” you mumbled.
