My character Aubin in a cave. First real try doing a full picture with watercolor. Used some gouache too.Related content

I like the composition and the environment, but the blue bits need some brown in them (possibly in the shadows) so they fit in better with the rest of the painting.

Hahah, Thank you! I kinda liked how it popped out, but I can see how the colors aren't very well unified. I was fearing that my burnt sienna pan was going to empty out off of this one picture though XD

No, the blue was a good choice for the hair and outfit. I mean you shaded it with just a darker shade of blue and that looks odd to me for some reason. That might just be because I am used to my own crazy shadows, but a little color variance in shadows always looks cool and helps to reflect the environment.
I hope some of that made sense.

hahah, it's cool, I usually try to use the compliment of my light source! I just started getting frustrated because of the media (I had a problem of the paper pilling up, for some reason) and wanted to get it done XD;;

pretty good the only thing that seems off to me is the feet look a littly wonky

His right foot doesn't look so bad to me, but after I completed it, I realized that his left foot is rotated waaaay too far!
